A panel that you can appeal to if you have been told that the NHS will not fund your continuing health care, and you think the wrong decision has been made. If your local clinical commissioning group decides you are not eligible for continuing health care, you can request a review by the independent review panel. The panel is made up of people from outside your immediate area who have not looked at your case before and can investigate why the decision was made and whether it is right or wrong.
