A server that uses a CTI card as part of a PNC installation. A CTI server acts as a controller for the flow of alarm calls through the wider system. It integrates directly with our monitoring software application server and generally works in tandem with a PABX to distribute calls to the right operators during call handling. The CTI is a physical server and cannot be virtualised as it provides the actual termination point for the telephone lines themselves.
