Within short term support the Primary Support Reasons (PSRs) are analysed between "Short term care to maximise independence" (also known as reablement) and "Short term care - other". As per [the Service Reporting Code of Practice (SeRCOP)], "Short term care to maximise independence" includes all episodes of support provided that are intended to: be time-limited maximise the independence of the individual reduce or eliminate their need for ongoing support. Short term support to maximise independence includes reablement services.
