This free text field is intended as an option for local authorities to provide additional context or clarification to aid in the interpretation of records. Descriptions of events will vary between local authorities.

This field should be used to record initial conversations since this will enable them to be identified when local authorities operate a three conversations model. Annex C provides further detail and Annex D provides worked examples.
