A global network of interconnected computers and mobile devices, which can communicate with each other using a set of agreed rules. NHSX and NHS Digital have worked with telecommunications companies to publish a series of offers and guidance to help care homes get connected to the internet or to upgrade their existing internet connectivity during the COVID-19 crisis.
